RaeAnn Christensen is an Emmy & APTRA award winning reporter and producer.

Utah is home for RaeAnn and where she started her career in local television news. She first started as an Associate Producer for the FOX station Salt Lake City. She then switched to KSL, the NBC affiliate, as a full-time producer. Working for KSL, she won many local awards and also became an Emmy® award winning producer.

After several years of producing and being behind the scenes, ready for a new challenge, RaeAnn thought she would give being on-air a shot. She packed her bags and made her way to Oregon to work for KOBI the NBC affiliate in Medford, Oregon. There she worked as a morning anchor, weather forecaster and reporter.

At the request of KSBY in San Luis Obispo of running the station on the weekends, as the anchor, weather anchor and executive producer, she was excited and accepted the challenge. Putting her heart and soul into the show, she brought the weekend show from the lowest to highest viewed at the station in her year and a half tenure. During the week, if she wasn’t filling in for the anchors or chief meteorologist, she was out reporting on Central Coast news. One of her most memorable moments was reporting live for the Refugio Oil Spill in which more than 140-thousand gallons of crude oil spilled into the Pacific Ocean from a broken pipeline. The team went on to win an Emmy® and AP Award for their coverage.

The great state of Texas called RaeAnn’s name, where she worked for the Fox O&O in the state’s capitol of Austin. RaeAnn worked as a reporter, and fill-in weather anchor. Within weeks of her arrival, she was introduced to the crazy weather of Central Texas and was in the middle of breaking news live hits, reporting as streets and businesses were flooded and people were being removed from roof tops of their flooded homes. Some of her most recognized work while at Fox 7, was when she was attributed by Snopes for busting a fake news story going viral about Trump protesters being bussed into Austin. As well as an in-depth investigation series on the Ford Explorer Carbon Monoxide Issue poisoning the police department.

RaeAnn holds a Bachelor's of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Weber State University in Utah.

Outside of work, she enjoys West Coast Swing and Country dancing, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
